VOLTZ LIPOS LIMITED WARRANTY

Voltz Lipos warrants to the original customer that its lithium polymer packs are free
from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to the conditions and limitations
set forth below, Voltz will, at its option replace its batteries that prove defective by
reason of improper workmanship and/or materials. Battery replacement will be
provided by Voltz on an exchange basis. This limited warranty does not cover any
damage to a battery that results from improper installation, accident, abuse, misuse,
or any unauthorized repair, or modification to our products.

Warranty Coverage and Duration

All Voltz batteries are guaranteed as follows:

• Incorrect pack voltage and/or no voltage (bad solder joins, etc.), this must be
reported within 90 days of date of purchase.

• Cell swelling (ballooning/puffing), this must be reported within 90 days of date of
purchase.

• Persistent imbalance of one cell of greater than 0.09 volts when compared to the
average of the other cell(s) in the pack, this imbalance must be reported within 30
days of date of purchase.

• Persistent Internal Resistance greater than 8 mOhm (.008 ohm) when compared to
the average of the other cell(s) in the pack, this must be reported within 30 days of
date of purchase

Warranty Exclusions

• Physical damage to the pack (impact, water/moisture/salt, etc.)

• Over-voltage charging, or other problems induced by improper charging, defective
charger or erroneous user settings.

• Use outside of specifications.

• Damage due to improper storage (very hot locations, fully charged storage for
extended periods, etc.)

• Short circuit.

• Improper balance connections to charger.

• Returns without copy of Original Receipt.

• Returns without accompanying note stating the reason for return.

• A pack in which ALL or MOST of the cells have "ballooned" (puff) as it is statistically
impossible that all or most of the cells in a pack will balloon together while being
properly used , balanced and maintained. In virtually all cases, packs that have
multiple puffed/ballooned cells have been subject to over-capacity discharge, radical
over-current discharge, improper storage, or charge voltage in excess of 4.205V/cell.
If you have experienced this problem, you will need to troubleshoot your charging
and power system(s) to determine the cause and to prevent further issues with other
packs.

Defective Product

This limited warranty applies only to the original end user customer of the product
for so long as the original end user customer owns the product. This limited warranty
is non-transferable.

Warranty Claim Procedures and Requirements

To obtain warranty service, you may return the defective battery to an authorized
VOLTZ dealer from which you purchased the VOLTZ battery.
Returned packs will be examined by Voltz’s staff within 10 days of arrival, and
contact will be made with the user to explain their findings.

Returning Packs

• The pack must be fully discharged before shipping to the dealer.

• The pack must have the original dated receipt (or email confirmation of sale date
from original dealer.)

• Include the following in a letter, enclosed with your return package: full name,
shipping address, telephone number, email address and a explanation of the
problem.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH ABOVE, NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE WITH RESPECT TO VOLTZ LITHIUM POLYMER BATTERIES AND VOLTZ EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES NOT STATED HEREIN, INCLUDING, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY WARRANTY THAT MAY EXIST UNDER NATIONAL, STATE OR LOCAL LAW INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARE LIMITED TO THE PERIODS OF TIME SET FORTH ABOVE. SOME STATES OR OTHER JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

REVCO RC, ITS PARENT COMPANY NET WORTH MEDIA LLC, OR ITS AFFILATES, DISTRIBUTORS AND/OR DEALERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE DEATH, DISMEMBERMENT, PERSONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL INJURY AND ANY DAMAGES TO EITHER PERSONS OR PROPERTY BY USE OF ITS PRODUCTS.

VOLTZ’ TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IS LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT. REPLACEMENT IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VOLTZ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO THE PURCHASER OR END USER CUSTOMER OF A VOLTZ LITHIUM POLYMER BATTERY FOR ANY DAMAGES, EXPENSES, OR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE PURCHASE, USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF VOLTZ HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
